The Whitney Brothers outdoorED Learning Pavilion is an outdoor classroom pavilion built to scale for young learners, giving schools, childcare centers, and families a shaded place to explore and learn together outside. We're proud to offer it across Canada & the US, fresh from winning a Platinum 2026 Spaces4Learning Product Award.
Inside, there's room for several children to work side by side, while one group sorts pinecones at a table and another sketches from the grass.
Time outside is more than a break from the classroom. The research behind this pavilion's design links outdoor time with reduced mental fatigue and better concentration once children head back indoors. Open-ended play in natural settings gives kids space to imagine and problem-solve, and hands-on discovery builds early math, science, and inquiry skills. For neurodiverse and neurotypical children alike, a shaded, open space with wide entryways makes it easier for everyone to take part.
