Room Treatment

Create a Sensory Room for Autism and Every Sensory Learner

Room treatment is how a space starts working for the people in it. Our room treatment collection brings together play couches, soft play, bean bags and loungers, playmats, crash mats, sensory wall panels, and Montessori furniture, plus cushions and sensory chairs, so you can turn a bedroom, classroom, or clinic into a sensory space built for movement and calm. Furnish one calm corner or build a full sensory room from the floor up. Every piece works on its own and alongside the rest.

Sensory Room Items for Every Surface of the Room

We’ve curated sensory room items for floors, walls, and seating alike.

• Play Couches - Fully modular and reconfigurable, so kids build their own forts, slides, and reading nooks while gaining gross motor, cognitive, and proprioceptive input.
• Soft Play Modules - Vinyl-covered foam for traversal, positioning, and creative movement that builds body awareness and vestibular input, with surfaces that support infection control in clinics and classrooms.
• Bean Bags and Loungers - Therapeutic seating with deep pressure and postural support, offering a calming proprioceptive anchor for self-regulation, focus, and decompression.
• Playmats - Cushioned foam mats from Licoco and Dwinguler that keep floor play, tummy time, and independent exploration safe and comfortable.
• Crash Mats - A deep-pressure landing zone for jumping, flopping, and rolling, delivering proprioceptive input that helps active sensory seekers feel grounded and ready to engage.
• Wall Panels - Tactile and interactive panels from TFH, TTS, AHS, and Southpaw that turn unused walls into a sensory environment for fine motor practice, cause-and-effect learning, and visual tracking.
• Montessori Furniture - Child-sized shelving, work tables, and storage from Sapiens Child and Kinderhuis Montessori that encourage autonomy and self-directed learning from infancy through early childhood.

Sensory Rooms in Schools, Clinics, and Homes

Picture a resource room where one student needs to move and another needs to rest. That’s the daily reality behind sensory rooms in schools and daycares, and we can equip the whole room. OTs will recognize professional-grade equipment from TFH, Southpaw, and Experia for a sensory room for therapy or an autism therapy room, while parents can create a quiet sensory room for anxiety disorder and everyday stress.

An Adult Sensory Room or a Kids Sensory Room

A crash mat is irresistible to any child seeking movement, yet the TFH Giant Foam Relax & Recline comes in a Regular/Senior size for grown-ups. That range lets one collection furnish an adult sensory room or a kids sensory room.

Autism Sensory Room Equipment Everyone Can Enjoy

Everything here benefits neurodiverse and neurotypical kids alike. For children with sensory processing differences, ADHD, autism, or developmental delays, the sensory therapy value is amplified, so much of this range doubles as autism sensory room equipment. The TFH Swaying Banana Leaf Chair is the kind of autism swing OTs often look for, and the joy belongs to everyone.

Brands include Go Coconut, Sapiens Child, TFH, Southpaw, Tumbl Trak, Sensory Paths, IGLU, TTS, Licoco, Dwinguler, Ggumbi, HABA Pro, Kinderhuis Montessori, and more, each selected for quality, safety, and developmental merit.
