Like all Calming products, nothing in this package requires a wireless controller. Plug each component into a standard 110v outlet and the environment begins - the bubble tube cycles slowly through colour with the swimming fish suspended inside it, the Jellyfish and Anemone glow and shift beside the platform, the projector casts moving tropical fish and underwater scenes across the walls and ceiling, and the sound system fills the space with ocean ambience. The room is on and working from the moment it is set up, with no configuration needed.

The Fiber Optic Jellyfish is one of the most extraordinary standalone sensory products Experia makes. In the Calming version, the tentacle-shaped fibre optic strands cycle slowly through colour, giving users a visually captivating, fully tactile piece of underwater life to sit beside, hold, and explore. The Fiber Optic Anemone - essentially the Calming Fiber Optic Softie in underwater disguise - provides a cushioned seat threaded with soft, safe fibre optic strands, creating a deeply immersive place to settle within the room's themed environment.

The Sensory Canopy is available separately to complete the transformation. When added, 24 individual fabric panels cover standard ceiling tiles and create the impression that the room is submerged beneath ocean waves.
