Description

The Experia Heavy Duty Bubble Tube Bracket is the commercial-grade wall-mounting bracket for any Experia 6" diameter bubble tube, available across North America from The Sensory Supply. Where the standard Bubble Tube Bracket clips to the top of the tube for stability, the Heavy Duty version bolts directly into the wall, uses a dedicated clamping mechanism to lock the tube in place, and is designed to prevent the tube from being tipped even by an individual who is actively trying to push or pull it over.

It was developed specifically for settings where a bubble tube is not being closely supervised — museums, hospital waiting rooms, public reception areas, and any commercial or institutional environment where the tube operates without a staff member present at all times. For these settings, the standard bracket's top-clip design is not sufficient. The Heavy Duty bracket's bolt-in construction and clamping mechanism are the appropriate choice.

The base of the bracket has a mirrored surface, which turns the bracket itself into a sensory enhancement: users can look up into the mirror and see themselves reflected alongside the rising bubbles and changing colour of the tube. The PVC strip across the top conceals the mounting hardware and clamp, giving the installation a clean, finished appearance.

The bracket fits 6" diameter bubble tubes only. When installed, the standard spacing from each wall to the centre of the tube is 9", so the tube sits precisely in the corner. The bracket must be placed in a corner — it can be used without a platform, but corner placement is required for the bracket's geometry to work.

Experia recommends pairing the Heavy Duty Bracket with an 80" tall bubble tube when used alongside a platform, to ensure adequate clearance between the platform and the bracket clamp position. Four 100 lb. drywall anchors are included. For brick, block, or other non-drywall surfaces, buyer-supplied anchors appropriate to the wall type are required.

For adult installation only.

Key Features of the Experia Heavy Duty Bubble Tube Bracket

  • Bolts Directly to the Wall — Commercial-Grade Security — Unlike the standard Bubble Tube Bracket which clips to the top of the tube, the Heavy Duty version bolts into the wall itself, providing a level of security that prevents the tube from being displaced even by a determined individual actively attempting to push or pull it over.
  • Unique Clamping Mechanism Locks the Tube in Place — A dedicated clamping mechanism grips the bubble tube column and locks it into the bracket, preventing any lateral movement or rocking. The oversized centre hole accommodates minor construction irregularities in corner positioning.
  • Mirrored Base Enhances the Bubble Tube Effect — The underside of the bracket has a mirrored surface, allowing users to look up and see themselves reflected alongside the rising bubbles and colour-changing light from below — adding a genuine sensory dimension to the bracket itself.
  • PVC Strip Conceals Hardware for a Clean Finish — A tasteful PVC strip covers the mounting hardware and clamp at the top of the bracket, giving the installation a finished, professional appearance rather than exposed fixings.
  • Fits 6" Diameter Bubble Tubes — Corner Installation Required — The bracket fits any Experia 6" diameter bubble tube and must be installed in a corner. The standard spacing from each wall to the tube centre is 9", and the bracket is designed to work with or without a bubble tube platform.
  • Recommended for Use with 80" Bubble Tubes When Used with a Platform — Experia recommends the 80" tube height when using this bracket alongside a Curved or Square platform, to ensure adequate clearance between the platform surface and the bracket clamp position.
  • Includes Four 100 lb. Drywall Anchors — Four heavy-duty 100 lb. drywall anchors are included for standard drywall installation. For brick, concrete block, or other wall types, buyer-supplied anchors appropriate to the surface are required.
  • Made in the USA — Manufactured by Experia USA to the same quality standards as all Experia bubble tube accessories and sensory room equipment.

  • Any commercial or institutional setting where the standard Bubble Tube Bracket's level of security is not sufficient
  • Installations with 80" bubble tubes alongside a Curved or Square
  • platform, where the clamping position and platform clearance make the Heavy Duty bracket the correct specificationd with 80" tall bubble tubes to allow adequate clearance between the platform and the bracket.
