The Starter Package creates a sensory corner. The Enhanced Package creates a sensory room. The TFH Sensory Room Kit - Immersive Package creates a multi-sensory environment. That distinction - corner, room, environment - maps directly to what the three tiers deliver, and the Immersive Package is the one that crosses the threshold into something that changes a space permanently and completely.
At $13,588 CAD, with approximately twelve feet of square floor space, this is the TFH Build-in-Stages system at its fullest expression: twenty components across Canada & the US that cover every major sensory system, deliver user-controlled wireless interactivity through the free MSE Genie App, put light and texture underfoot through an Interactive Fibre Optic Carpet, multiply the visual environment through eight acrylic mirror panels and a wall sconce, add a tactile wall element, and include a Complete Personal Sensory Calming Kit for the individual user to take away from the session. The person in this room does not need to ask for the lights to change. They change them. From an iPad. From anywhere in the room.
The Immersive Foundation - Everything From the Enhanced Package
The Immersive Package contains the full Enhanced Package foundation: the 48" Water Bubble Tube, LED Colour Changing Mood Dice, Bean Bag Pouffe, Set of 3 Reflections Blankets, Set of Small Round Mirrors, Medium Harkla Hug Boat, 100 Strands of Fibre Optic Tails with Sparkle Light Source, Table Top Whirlwind Air Tube with Podium, Soft Pressure Ball Blanket, and Sounds to Lights Interactive Panel.
It also upgrades the Aura Projector to the three-wheel configuration - Liquid, Bubbles, and Blossoms - giving the projection environment three distinct visual atmospheres compared to the Enhanced Package's two.
Then it adds seven components that cannot be found in any lower tier.
The Seven Immersive-Exclusive Additions
Interactive Fibre Optic Carpet
A carpet with fibre optics woven directly into the pile, handmade from high-quality textile with a built-in light source. The carpet puts colour and light underfoot - literally beneath the user's body as they sit, lie, or move through the space. It connects to the room's light source system and responds to the same colour cycling as the fibre optic tails. For users who need tactile input while engaging with the visual environment, the carpet provides it passively, simply by being in the room. This is the component that makes the Immersive Package genuinely floor-to-ceiling: light above (fibre optic tails), light around (bubble tube, projector, mirrors), light below (fibre optic carpet).
Two MSE Genie App Receivers & Wireless Colour Control
Two wireless receivers that connect the room's bubble tube, fibre optic tails, and other compatible TFH equipment to the free MSE Genie App (downloadable from the App Store for iPad and iPhone). Once connected, the user can control the colour of the entire room's light environment from anywhere in the space - choosing colours, cycling through combinations, mixing shades, or allowing the system to auto-cycle - without needing to reach a controller, ask a therapist, or interrupt the session. This is the single most therapeutically significant addition in the Immersive tier. Environmental control is a core principle of multi-sensory room practice: the most effective sessions are those where the user directs their own sensory experience. The MSE Genie App delivers that control in a form that requires no fine motor precision, no verbal request, and no proximity to a panel.
Wireless Colour Control Button Box
A wireless four-button control device that operates alongside the MSE Genie App as a simpler, physical interface for colour selection. For users who prefer or need a tangible button to press rather than a touchscreen interface, the Button Box provides the same colour-mixing and selection functions through four large physical buttons that are compatible with TFH switches.
Fibre Optic Wall Sconce Enclosure
A wall-mounted wooden enclosure that tidily routes the fibre optic tails through the wall, keeping cables hidden and allowing the tails to emerge cleanly from a designated point. This is the installation element that takes the room from assembled to designed - transforming the fibre optic spray from a freestanding feature into an integrated architectural element of the space.
Bitty Abstract Texture Wall Panel
A compact tactile wall panel that adds a textured surface element to the room. Where the fibre optic carpet and tails address the floor and air, the texture panel addresses the wall - creating a multi-surface tactile environment that invites touch at standing height and provides sensory engagement from a fixed, safe, wipe-clean surface. This is the element that ensures the room's tactile provision extends beyond the portable items and into the walls themselves.
Double Set of Acrylic Mirror Panels (8 Units)
Eight acrylic mirror panels that transform the visual environment of the room by multiplying the perception of light, space, colour, and content. Positioned around the bubble tube and fibre optic elements, the mirrors create the impression of a room far larger than twelve feet square - the classic multi-sensory room effect in which a single bubble tube appears to become many, fibre optic tails seem to extend into infinity, and the projector's imagery wraps around the viewer. The acrylic construction is safe, lightweight, and wall-mountable without the risk of traditional glass mirrors.
Complete Personal Sensory Calming Kit
A portable personal kit of sensory regulation tools that the individual user takes away from the session. This acknowledges that the benefit of a multi-sensory room extends beyond the time spent in it - by equipping users with personal calming tools, the kit supports self-regulation in classrooms, at home, and in other environments throughout the day. The exact contents of the Personal Sensory Calming Kit vary; contact The Sensory Supply for current contents.

The Multi-Sensory Room Difference
There is a meaningful clinical distinction between a sensory corner and a multi-sensory environment. A sensory corner provides calming inputs for one or two users. A multi-sensory environment, in the tradition of the Snoezelen-style rooms that have been used in clinical and residential settings since the 1970s, provides a complete, controlled sensory world that can be individualised to each user's needs in each session.
The Immersive Package creates that environment. The wireless MSE Genie App control is what bridges the gap between a room full of equipment and a truly responsive therapeutic space - because the most effective multi-sensory environments are those where the user directs their own experience, makes their own choices, and develops a sense of agency and control that generalises beyond the session. Two wireless receivers mean two users can each control aspects of the environment simultaneously, making the package appropriate for paired or small-group sessions as well as individual therapy.
The fibre optic carpet, the mirror panels, and the wall sconce enclosure are the elements that make the space feel designed rather than assembled. These are the components that visitors notice - and that occupational therapists, school staff, and families remember when they describe what a sensory room looks like at its best.
Skills, Development & Therapeutic Benefits Supported by this Kit
- Full Multi-Sensory Integration - Simultaneous engagement of visual, tactile, proprioceptive, auditory, and environmental control systems supports comprehensive sensory integration practice within a single, cohesive space
- User Independence & Environmental Agency - Wireless Genie App control gives users direct, real-time agency over their sensory environment - building confidence, decision-making, and the sense of control that is central to effective self-regulation
- Visual Immersion & Depth Perception - The combination of mirror panels, fibre optic carpet, wall-mounted tails, bubble tube, and projector creates a full three-dimensional visual environment that develops spatial awareness, visual tracking, and perceptual engagement
- Tactile Integration Across Surfaces - Fibre optic tails in the hands, carpet underfoot, texture panel on the wall, and blankets across the body deliver tactile input across multiple body surfaces simultaneously - the comprehensive tactile environment that supports desensitisation and sensory tolerance building
